Dear comminution & classification colleagues.
The European Symposium on Comminution & Classification ESCC has a 12 year tradition. In 2013 Braunschweig, or in English \\\"Brunswick\\\", an old German city south of Hamburg and west of Berlin with a long international history, will host this international conference of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering, EFCE. We are very proud to organize this important conference and to welcome the worldwide comminution and classification community in Braunschweig. In connection with the ESCC, a workshop of the International Comminution Research Association \\\"ICRA\\\" will be held on the weekend before the conference and a short course on fine grinding with stirred media mills on Monday before the opening reception. Moreover, beside evening events during the conference we offer you a visit of the main factory of Volkswagen with its famous \\\"Autostadt\\\" on Friday.
The conference is structured in four sub-conferences with the topics Mineral Processing, Fine and Ultrafine Grinding in Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Other Industries, Fundamentals of Breakage and Comminution Models as well as New Applications. As shown in this call for papers we will have several interesting plenary and keynote lectures from important comminution & classification experts from all over the world. The main advantage of the ESCC is that besides hearing new results from your own industry you can learn much from other industries and can transfer it to your own applications.
I herewith invite you to come to Braunschweig in 2013 to be part of the ESCC which will bring together experts of comminution & classification technology from industry and academics. My greatest wish is that you will hear interesting presentations, have fruitful discussions and, at the end, take home at least one new idea for your company and/or your research. |
