Wide sulfate mineralization dissemination in Shul’gan-Tash (Kapova) carbonate karst cave in the Southern Urals. Ten subaerial gypsum deposits areas on the walls and one zone of gypsum and barite spherocrystalline spherulites in clay sediments have been registered in the cave. We assume that sulphuric acid corrosion elements acted at a certain stage of the Shul’gan-Tash cave formation when oxidation of sulphide minerals (ores) above the cave column.
