Abstract - Summary (short description): | |
The results fluid inclusions study in calcites from magmatic carbonatites of the Fuerteventura Island (Canary Arhipelago, Spain) are presented. Quite a wide range of homogenization temperature of gas-liquid inclusions have been established, as much as from 170 to 410°C for three different points, which is caused by non-equilibrium conditions of crystallization and postcrystallization formation processes of the carbonatites. The carbonatites of Montana Blanca region are characterized by the highest homogenization temperatures of 286°C (average), which is essentially higher than those for carbonatites of Punta de la Nao and Punta Penon Blanca. The metamorphosed varieties of the carbonatites of Punta Penon Blanca have lower homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions, as mush as average 254°C. |
