Abstract - Summary (short description): | |
In gold ore deposits of the region, metasomatic ores formed during the early beresite-type infiltration metasomaism and the late near-vein diffusion metasomatism, are differently abundant. Dependent on a degree of completion of metasomatic process, the early infiltration mineralization is able to form complete and incomplete metasomatic columns. Along with elevated contents of prismatic arsenopyrite (> 1-2%), the rocks from inner zones of complete columns with auriferous pyrite and prismatic pyrite representing the commercial impregnated ores are characterized by a high concentration of sulfide iron (> 50%), reduced iron content in carbonates and sericite syngenetic to sulfides (< 0,2), pentagonal dodecahedron habit of late generations of pyrite metacrystals and their elevated gold and arsenic contents (> 2 mass %). |
