Abstract - Summary
(short description):
The results of study of natural quartz from some gold deposits and authigenic quartz by methods: EPR, electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, IR-spectroscopy and other methods are reported. It is shown that crystallization of quartz from gold deposits and authigenic quartz proceeded in near alkaline conditions. New structural defects named Al-D were contained in investigated samples. Concentrations of these defects are suggested as additional indicator of mineralization by authors.
