(short description):
The aim of the work is studying the influence of growth conditions (temperature, adding impurities) on the quantitative characteristics of the polycrystalline precipitate.
Electrochemical deposition was carried out in a temperature range of 40.0-52 C from a solution of copper sulfate with a fixed concentration. The resulting precipitate was studied ex-situ by atomic force microscopy.
Quantitative characteristics of copper precipitate in dependence on temperature vary non monotonically and reproduce kinetic curve of copper electrocrystallization.
The addition of ethanol leads to a shift of the kinetic curve relative to the initial electrodeposition toward lower temperatures, as well as to a natural change in the quantitative characteristics of the sediment morphology.
