(short description):
Results of investigation of fluid inclusions in zircon were obtained by thermobarogeochemistry and TEM. Fluid preserved in inclusions of both type 1 and 2, has analogues among fluid inclusions in diamond and corresponds to the medium of diamond crystallization. Relatively low temperatures of the fluid inclusion conservation evidence that the fluid was in cracks and intergranular space of mantle rocks in a zone of the Earth asthenosphere. In a process of zircon crystallization within «Koffiefontein» pipe this fluid transformed from a waterless saline melt to fluid enriched with water.
