(short description):
The Pb-Zn mineralization at Pod Babou locality is hosted in metamorphic rocks of the Tatric unit. Mineralization comprises two main veins. Mineral composition of the two first stages (quartz-arsenopyrite, Pb-Zn) is the same in both veins, while the youngest one is formed by carbonates or barite. Microthermometric measurements suggest that Pb-Zn and carbonate stages were deposited from low salinity fluids (1.98 14.18 wt. % NaCl eq.) at minimum temperature range of 150 250C.
