The prospects of implementing the X-ray tomography, CT in a complex of mineralogical methods as a routing one for morphostructural analysis of rocks, ores of minerals and their aggregates are discussed. Examples are given. The possibility of establishing texture-structural features, segmentation of the composition, separation of ore and rock-forming minerals, forecasting the quality of mineral raw materials is shown. The development of CT is associated with the improvement of the instrument base, primarily the sensor system of tomograph, and the development of specialized software.
