Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
Solubility of H2O-CO2-Cl-containing fluids of various concentrations (0-3-10-23 wt % HCl and 0 to ~ 8-15 wt % CO2) in the synthesized dacite, phonolite and rhyolite melts at T=1000C , =200 MPa, logfO2 ~(Ni-NiO)+3.5 and duration of the experiments - 5 days was experimentally investigated. With the introduction of CO2 into the system the Cl content in the melt increases in all the investigated compositions compared to the system without CO2, since Cl activity in the fluid increases in the presence of CO2. When CO2 is added, the H2O content in the melt is reduced by ~0.5-1.0 wt %, that is explained by the dilution of the aqueous fluid with carbon dioxide.
