Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
A thermochemical study of six natural calcium amphiboles of various compositions by the method of high-temperature melt solution calorimetry on a Tian-Calvet microcalorimeter was carried out. The enthalpies of formation from elements for the studied Ca-amphiboles are obtained. The values of the standard entropies, enthalpies, and Gibbs energies of the formation of amphiboles of theoretical compositions - end and intermediate members of isomorphic series are calculated (tremolite - ferroactinolite, edenite - ferroedenite, pargasite - ferroparagite and hastingsite).
