Noble-metal mineralization Kaalamo-complex was revealed in streaky-disseminated Cu-S (chalcopyrite) and Cu-Ni-S (pentlandite-chalcopyrite-pyrrhotite) ores occurring in pyroxenites of differentiated intrusions (Karelia, Northern Lake Ladoga area). ∑PGE and Au is up to 6.6 g/t (massif Kaalamo). Noble metals and minerals (platinoids and gold) are commonly confined to chalcopyrite mineralization. Platinum-group minerals are represented by bismutotellurides (kotulskite, merenskyite, michenerite, sobolevskite, keithconnite, moncheite), arsenides - sulpho-arsenides (sperrylite, Rh-platarsite, hollingworthite and irarsite), sulphides (braggite, vysotskite, cooperite) and stannides (atokite, paolovite) and more rare phases, and Ag-gold was found. The location pattern of massifs and mineralization in the Northern Lake Ladoga area is compared with that of the Kotalahti Province, Raahe-Ladoga zone.
