Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
The results of studying the morphology and X-ray characteristics of diamond crystals, the chemical composition of garnets, spinels and inclusions in these crystals from volcanogenic sediments of the Bulkur anticline are presented. The predominance of diamond crystals of Variety I (Uralian type, rhombododecahedra) and Variety VII (aggregates of dodecahedra, not typical for kimberlite pipes of the Siberian platform) is established. Garnets have pyrope-almandine composition and are filled with inclusions in varying degrees (ilmenite, rutile, apatite, shrilankite, quartz). According to Raman spectroscopy, the calculated excess pressure in quartz inclusions in garnets (2,9-7,02 kbar) indicates that samples with inclusions of quartz do not have deep mantle origin (FeO - 31.7%). Chemical compositions of spinels from tuffites and highly diamondiferous kimberlites vary considerably, spinels from the Mir pipe are characterized by direct correlation between Al2O3 and Cr2O3, for spinels from tuffites this trend is not observed; a significantly higher content of TiO2 is typical for the tuffite spinels. only a few of the studied spinel macrocrystals can be attributed to the trend of diamondiferous kimberlites, the rest form a separate group, indicating a different source for the formation of spinels from the Bulkur anticline tuffites. Mineral inclusions in the studied spinels are similar to those in spinels from kimberlites, however, the presence of melt inclusions points to either to somewhat different physico-chemical conditions of their formation or to their more rapid rising to the surface.
