Abstract - Summary (short description): | |
The black inclusions are found in diamond crystals grown in water-containing carbonate, carbonate-silicate and chloride systems at P=7.5 GPa and T=1600°C. Inclusions have lamellar form and oriented parallel to the {111} faces of diamond. Using Raman spectroscopy it is established that inclusions are graphite with highly-ordered crystalline structure with the G band located at 1591 cm-1. From the shift of the G band position, the residual pressure in inclusions is estimated to be above 2.3 GPa. |
