Abstract - Summary
(short description):
During the process of malachite growing at the «Etalon Jenavi» company one of the possible production defects are samples with the so-called “amphoras” – hollow tubular formations. In the museum of mineralogy department sample of natural malachite comprise such tubular formations was found. The purpose of researches was to understand nature of “pipes” both malachite types and also to make a conclusion – can be the methods of growing synthetic malachite be a model of natural malachite crystallization which results in appearance of the museum sample?
