Abstract - Summary
(short description):
Some morphological importance (MI) cryteria of {211} & {110} garnet habit forms are considered regarding their relation with formation conditions and cristalline structure. The dependence of MI upon formation conditions and cristalline structure is shown by an example of morphology features of IAG crystals, grown from fluxed melt solution by spontaneous crystallization and from the melt. These results are compared with some theoretical calculations of MI
