(short description):
The family of REECOB material offers, beside good optical properties, very useful piezoelectrical properties at high temperatures. This makes the material a perfect candidate for high temperature sensors. Unfortunately very little and different data exist in literature about thermal properties, like thermal expansion coefficients. We present our first results on growing crystals, using Czochralski method and preliminary measurements on mechanical thermal behaviour.
