Abstract - Summary 
(short description):
The Visota-181 occurrence is situated at the north part of Karelia. This plot has folded structure – schistes intermit with amphibolites. Garnet is a part of all rock types. The maximum content of garnet in some layers amount to 60%. The garnet, staurolite, quartz, kyanite are minerals with large commercial value.
